My Answer:
I met Brad at Hardees when I stopped by in between classes. I remember thinking he was hot right out of the gate--lean and muscled, all the right angles, blond with these intense brown eyes. He flirted, but I just mumbled and got my food and went on my merry way. Later, I talked to a friend about him and she decided that we were gonna go back and do it right this time and give him my number.
We go back to Hardees, but Brad's off work--luckily, one of his friends was a romantic and decided to give us his number. I call and leave an awkward message, saying he might not remember me but I remembered him etc.
He called back a few hours later!
We met up and had dinner and talked for hours about nothing and everything--and he made me feel like I was literally the only girl in the room.
We didn't last, but I'll always remember cuddling with him, arms wrapped around me as he whispered some tragic Nirvana song in my ear.

ReplyDeletefencingromein at hotmail dot com
I grew up a lot in my first real love relationship too...my answer's a little mushy gushy, but I figured out who I was and what I deserved. A lot of good memories, but we didn't work out for a reason.

DeleteMy first love was my ex fiance, I was introduced to him thru friends and we hit it off right off the bat and were basically glued at the hip after that. I still think about him to this day. A bunch of what if's if I had did something different would I be with him now.

DeleteI was 16. He was a rocker - always wore a leather trench and had long hair. I swore we would be together forever. Then he cheated on me with my arch enemy. For real, I've had one in my entire life, she was it. They are married. We managed to be friends again after 20 years but I'm mad at him again. LOL heather1974 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteOoo a rocker. :) That SUCKS about what he did though and that they ended up together. :( I hope you found happiness, Heather!

DeleteMy first love was and still is my husband of almost 20 years. I met him my freshman year in college and fell instantly in lust (we were both dating other people at the time). 3 years later we were both single, started dating, and got married 2 years after that. I had other boyfriends, but none that I felt love for.
ReplyDeletekesummer69(at)gmail(dot)com
Wow, 20 years! That's amazing (and inspirational!)
DeleteWe met through mutual friends and started dating on my 17th birthday. We were together for over 2 years and went our separate ways while remaining friends. We are now talking again and who knows what the future will hold :)

ReplyDelete:( Thanks for participating, though! <3
DeleteMy first love was part of the popular crowd in high school and played on the basketball team. He never noticed me - or at least I thought he didn't. A few years after high school, we ran into each other in a club and let's just say, sparks flew. When I mentioned about how he probably never noticed me back then, he said, "Oh, I noticed." Sigh.
ReplyDelete:D *swoon!*

DeleteMy first love is Justin. I met him when I was 17. We were a fantastic couple and sadly the world got in between our love. There were some evil people with rumours and he believed them. He found me about 10 years later and admitted he was still in love with me. At that time we were seperated by a very large ocean and neither one of us had money. I lost track of him got married etc. I just talked to him a year ago and I admitted I still have feelings for him as he does for me but we are both happily married. I will never forget him though :)

Hmmm, I've never been in 4ever love, but I've had some serious cases of lust colored with affection. The first boy I dated was completely by accident. He was supposed to go out with my friend and when she went by his house, he jumped in the backseat with me.
ReplyDeleteblueshedevil32 at gmail dot com
Mmm...falling in lust is grand! (not so great when I mistook lust as love, but that's a story for another day!). Cute story, Sebella!
DeleteA boy named Charlie in kindergarten...he broke my heart, I broke his nose!

DeleteI married my first love. It was fine for a short time. I didn't pay attention to me unless it was important to him at the time. The marriage only lasted 3 years. That was 23yrs ago and I'm still looking for a better replacement.

His name was Nate and he was dreamy, absolutely stunning. I was walking around the mall with some friends and he was walking toward me with his friends. We made eye contact and he gave me the most gorgeous smile. He immediately bee lined towards me and asked for my name and number. I was 16 and fell in love right away lol. It didn't last but I sure did love him. Thank you so much for being a part of this hop and for giving me the opportunity to win! usmcwifey1(at)live(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThe name 'Nate' is dreamy all by itself! *swoons over Nate Archibald from Gossip Girl* What a cute story...thanks for sharing and taking part in the hop!

ReplyDeleteI fell in love with a "bad boy" when I was 15 and he was 18. Believe me, there was no fun in that heartbreak. It took me a long time to get over him. I still think about him now and then wondering if he is as happy as I am.
He just couldn't see himself the way that I did. I don't know that he really loved me as much as I did him.
I am happily married now to someone else. :)
Oh, the joys of being a teen. Lol.
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
